Our Story: From Childhood Dreams to a Sparkling Reality

Once upon a time, we were just two little girls—inseparable best friends who shared everything.

Our favorite game, Playing pretend. But not just any pretend—we were always princesses. Every time, we’d race to be the one wearing the (imaginary) crown, stacking on plastic beads as if they were real diamonds. We were completely enchanted by the sparkling tiaras and glittering jewels we saw in animated fairy tales. To us, jewelry meant beauty, happiness, and a kind of quiet magic. Being a princess wasn’t about waiting for someone to rescue us—it was about feeling radiant, joyful, and full of possibility.

Then life happened. A move separated us, and for many years, we lost touch. We grew up, took different paths, and became different versions of ourselves.

And then, by pure coincidence, we ran into each other in Vancouver.

It was like a scene from a movie—our eyes met, we paused for a split second, and then it clicked. That moment of recognition was instant, and so was the joy. We picked up right where we left off, as if no time had passed at all.

Over coffee after coffee, we caught up on each other’s lives.

Amber had built a successful career in the corporate world. Her days were full, her schedule packed, and on the outside, everything looked perfect. But deep down, life had become a routine—busy, predictable, and honestly... a little empty. Somewhere along the way, she’d forgotten what it felt like to do something just for herself.

Rose, on the other hand, had built a warm and loving family life. As a full-time mom, she found deep purpose in raising her children and creating a nurturing home. But over time, her world had started revolving solely around others—her partner, her kids, her responsibilities. She missed having space for her own identity, for self-expression.

We realized something important during those long conversations:

Stopped loving ourselves the way we used to when we were little girls pretending to be queens of our imaginary kingdoms.

Then one day, while reminiscing about our childhood, a spark returned.
